Shaun the Sheep

This week, we are mining a deep vein of Disney Screensavers, and today's edition is Shaun the Sheep brought to us by Aardman Animations - These guys make terrific claymation including Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run. Enough said. This is a pretty basic but entertaining screensaver with a flock of sheep and one zooming out for a bonus.

The Cheetah Girls!!!!!

Outfits, outfits, outfits.. Aiming to beat Miley Cyrus in the "how many outfit changes can a Disney pop-star wear in a screensaver" competition, these girls change  faster than you can say "fade to swirly background". Strictly for the dedicated Cheetah fan me thinks.

Crank High Voltage

Take one buffed out dude, toss him off a building, have a bunch of Chinese guys harvest his heart and slam in a 12 volt version, add a little Crystal Method and stir.

If profanity is not your cup of tea, then this is not for you... (but it does look like fun)

Chronotech - Shock Your Time

This feels a bit like a blipvert with fast transitions and watches and logos whizzing in and out. Looks good on smaller screens, but those with a wider screen will get to see the white background, which distracts from the overall feeling of being hypnotized and really getting into time.

IMAX - Under The Sea

3D screensavers… have not been invented yet... But this is a nice rendering of the IMAX 3D movie Under The Sea - with sea life drifting in the current, and light gently pulsing. A fine contrast to yesterday's screensaver.
