Questions and Answers about this Web Site

Question

What are those little icons for?

Answer

The little icons represent various screen savers attributes:

Screen savers compatible with Mac OS X versions 10.1 and later. Complete integration with Mac OS X screen saver System Preferences. Using OS X screen savers

Interactive
The screen saver contains some level of interactivity.

Sound

The screen saver plays with sound. Many control panels have a mute button to toggle the sound on and off. Others provide sound control within the screen saver itself. A few don't allow any control of sound other than on a system wide level (like from within the Monitors and Sound control panel).

Full Screen

These screen savers display full screen on any size monitor.

Some larger monitors or monitors set at higher resolutions may have difficulty displaying these screen savers under certain conditions.

Question

Why don't you have some screen savers that I've seen elsewhere?

Answer

Well ... if they were created with CineMac or ScreenTime, Blinky would be ecstatic to know about them. If they were created with some other software, Blinky will hunt it down and kill it. After all, this site deals exclusively with screen savers created using CineMac for Director, CineMac for QuickTime or ScreenTime for Flash and designed to run on Macintosh computers.

Question

Do you do Windows?

Answer

Mac Screen Savers.com has a strict policy against such things.

Question

I've made a cool screen saver, can I submit it to Mac Screen Savers.com?

Answer

Certainly! Provided the screen savers were created using CineMac for Director, CineMac for QuickTime or ScreenTime for Flash from our friends at ScreenTime Media.

If you have created or know of such screen savers, let Blinky know and be rewarded handsomely.
